I’ve looked at a number of security systems for my store. I’m thinking that I need a video security system that covers the interior and the parking area. With an IP video camera, I can even check in on the place from home when the store is closed at night. I’ve had some recent problems with vandalism and I’d like to catch the people doing it on tape so the police can deal with it. Ideally, the system would have a motion detector that sends me an email or instant message if it’s activated. That way I could not only record the video, but call the police and maybe catch these people in the act of spray-painting on my store. Is there a security system with notification like this?
I’ve always thought that installing security systems was a good idea, but that it was something only the rich could afford to have installed. Then I saw an IP video camera on the web with no wiring or expert installation required for the video security system and that eliminates the biggest part of the expense. I could set the whole system up myself. I can even buy one camera and receiver and then add more coverage over time until I’ve got the complete home security system that I want.
I recently installed security systems to monitor my fruit trees in my yard, and it worked out great! The video security system that I installed caught one of the kids in my neighborhood picking all the ripe fruit before I even got a chance to! I ended up also putting in IP video cameras because someone had told me that they would be the best one, and this also definitely helped! Security systems of today rock! Easy to use and totally effective. Gotta love technology sometimes.
